Ruger makes some awesome guns, but Savage/Stevens are my preference. most of my rifles are Savage, my .22 is Savage/Stevens. but i also have a Ruger .357 6 shot revolver that is VVEERRYY nice. i have 2 shotguns, 1 being a browning, the other a benelli. (both 12 gauges) i prefer the benelli but the browning shoots great too. different companies make better guns depending on weather you need a rifle, handgun, revolver, or shotgun. id take a Savage for my rifle any day=p

The stevens if possible try grouping some factory hornady 150grain sst loads with this load just suggestion.
